- Off-season: Early check-in and late check-out may be possible based on same-day availability — call on arrival day.
Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours before your scheduled arrival to avoid any fees.
Yes — each reservation includes on-site parking for one vehicle per room in our designated lot. Extra passes in-season are $25 and additional street parking may be available nearby. Parking spots are not assigned, and passes must be displayed. A resort fee of $22 plus tax per night applies, which includes:
• Daily beach chairs and towels
• Parking for one vehicle
• Wi-Fi access
• Two beach badges per reservation (additional available for purchase)
• In-room coffee
• Fresh brewed coffee available in the lobby each morning
• 24/7 filtered hot and cold water station in the lobby
A credit card is required at check-in. We accept credit cards and mobile payments, including Apple Pay and Google Pay. We do not accept cash.
A $100 deposit is required at check-in and is returned if not used. You may change your payment method for your balance or deposit at check-in. Non-refundable reservations cannot be refunded, including, but not limited to, weather events.
Yes! We offer beach chairs and towels for your convenience. Plus, each reservation includes 2 beach badges, which must be returned at checkout.
Only Ocean Spray has an elevator. Accessible buildings include Ocean Front, Ocean Spray, and first-floor Efficiency rooms. Ocean Breeze and upper floors of the Efficiency building require stairs.
Yes, the beach in Ship Bottom is ADA-friendly. Beach wheelchairs are available for individuals with disabilities through the Ship Bottom Beach Patrol. Advance reservations are recommended:

- Beach wheelchairs can be picked up at Beach Operations Headquarters.
Drifting Sands is dog-friendly! We allow up to two dogs per room (sorry, no other pets). A $75 fee per dog and a $100 refundable security deposit apply. Dogs are welcome in our Ocean Breeze and Ocean Front buildings, but not on the top floors to accommodate guests with allergies.
Dogs are allowed on the beach in the off season, but must be on a leash at all times. No dogs are allowed on the beaches between May 1st and October 1st. It is the law that you must clean up after your dog.
In Ship Bottom, protecting the environment is taken seriously:
- Do not walk or climb on the sand dunes — there’s a $500 fine for violations.
- No littering — this also carries a $500 fine. Help keep the beach beautiful and follow all posted regulations during your stay.
We do not offer private event or wedding space, but we’d love to have you stay with us during your special occasion!
No. Smoking must be done at least 25 feet away from any door, window, or balcony.
Yes — every room includes a Micro Fridge, microwave, and coffee pods. Fresh brewed lobby coffee is also available. Ice machines are located on the second floor of the Ocean Front, Ocean Spray, and Ocean Breeze buildings.
